There are many lot developments - at least 25! - around the western half of the lake, some of them gated, some of them with 24-hour security, some on the water, some of them merely providing groups of lots with roads, water, and electricity where you will have responsibility for building whatever you want. Economic conditions have halted work on some of these developments, making large and beautiful pieces of land available at reduced prices. What's more, much has already been done. The challenging permitting processes have probably been accomplished and usually some or all has already been done on infrastructure such as roads, drainage, water, and electricity.
